Apples App Store Breaks 100,000 Apps Barrier

Apples App Store has announced that they have broken the 100,000 approved applications barrier. Although only roughly 93,000 apps are currently available within the store, the 100,000 includes apps that have been approved and are currently awaiting inclusion.

Many predict the 200,000 mark will be broken next year, with forecasts of 250,000 apps by the end of 2010.

Apple recently announced that the store had passed the 2 billion application download mark.
