The Role:

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Science team based in London. Commercially focused, you will be an ambitious individual with a passion to join one of the UK’s leading analytics consultancies working alongside some global brands. The role itself will have a strong focus on delivering regular analytics support to our clients by working with their data and understanding their business challenges to deliver clear actionable results. Working alongside our Senior Data Scientists you will also have the ability to develop and grow your skills in more advanced analytics including working with machine learning algorithms across a range of services and learning how to productionise models in end-to-end solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytics background with a degree in a relevant subject or experience within an analytical role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to work with range of data including digital & customer databases.
  • Some aptitude or willingness to learn SQL, Python and/or R coding.
  • Previous exposure to one or more BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker is also desirable but not essential.
  • Exposure to or interest in utilising web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.

Main duties:

  • Supporting senior members of the team with client deliverables.
  • Work with client stakeholders to understand key business drivers and requirements.
  • Identify and extract, or develop ETL requirements as appropriate, on relevant datasets for business intelligence reporting as well as advanced statistical modelling.
  • Developing insightful and actionable recommendations based on data analysis and communicating these clearly and succinctly to clients.
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders as directed, including updates on plans, outputs, and managing expectations.
