The Role:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team, based in Edinburgh.
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and driven with a desire to learn new technologies and new ways of working. An independent thinker, you’ll be pro-active in your approach to problem solving working as part of a dynamic best-in-class team. In return, you’ll enjoy autonomy to flourish in the role supported by a friendly and creative team of Data Engineers.
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will be a key member of our growing Engineering team within Lynchpin. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a passion to join one of the UK’s leading analytics consultancies working alongside some global brands.
Working at Lynchpin you’ll be empowering our clients to better understand their data better, helping them to deliver effective solutions across our range of Data Science services.


Key Skills:

Adobe Analytics, Data architecture, SQL, Python, HTML, JavaScript, cloud-based development, excellent written and verbal communication.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, implement, improve and support new and existing data and analytics services for our clients.
  • Diagnose and fix data issues for our clients, identifying root-cause and developing solutions to resolve.
  • Keep up-to-date on cutting-edge tools and technologies and introduce them effectively into our technology and solutions stack.
  • Ensure that all client delivery is well documented, tested and meets our engineering standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in client meetings and identifying opportunities to support our clients better.
  • Manage stakeholders and build relationships across both the business and our clients.

To succeed in this role you must have:

  • Significant experience in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch and Adobe Target.
  • Experience in managing complex adobe analytics projects from implementation to configuration management.
  • Experience in managing website and app A/B tests.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
  • Proven organisational , communication and planning skills.
